I tried this several times but did not set up the no sound upshot. Get Started video withal won't play, YouTube videos play in FireFox, no sound though :(

PROBLEM SOLVED
Windows 10 home edition, HP Compaq C500 (c581wm)
Conexant High Definition SmartAudio HD2 Commuter (for sound,video and game controller) does Not work with windows 10 !
High Definition Audio Device Driver DOES WORK!
This is how mine was fixed

If reinstalling the driver doesn't piece of work, then attempt using the generic audio driver that comes with Windows. Here's how: inDevice Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) your audio driver >Update driver software...>Browse my computer for driver software>Let me pick from a listing of device drivers on my reckoner, selectHigh Definition Sound Device, selectNext, so follow the rest of the instructions to install it.

my window ten plays some video file but there wont be audio while if I use other video applications or preprograms it plays. please assistance!

I just updated to windows ten, based on the promise that all your files will be just as yous left them. I wasn't aware I needed to ask if I could still open up or employ any of them. Since the update, I can no longer watch whatever of the video files I take on my PC. Which is almost the but reason I own my PC. This makes me feel like I was coerced into updating to an junior production, that renders my PC into a substantially oversized paperweight. I would like to know how to set this delight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I would suggest you lot to cheque all the available Windows Updates. Installation of contempo Windows Updates should fix the effect.
If the issue still persists, then try updating the Brandish commuter and check. Here is the steps:
1. Press Windows Fundamental + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.
ii. Blazon devmgmt.msc and hit Ente r.
3. In Display Adapter, expand Display Adapter, correct-click, and then click Update .

On my laptop audio as well as video is not working on Windows 10 enterprise edition.sometimes it plays v to x minutes video and afterward information technology stops......
